My Story - How it all started
Following horrendous experiences by myself and daughter both of
us are size 20+'s.
In search for the perfect dress for "OUR SPECIAL DAY".
I have decided no one else should have to walk into a bridal shop.
Having taken time out to telephone to make the appointment, stating
your size and being told they have plenty for you to try on.
Only to see the face of the assistant with the expression "Oh
No not a big one".
The reason being the said assistant does not have anything likely
to fit so no sale.
She fields your questions with size 12's and 14's which wont fit
your right leg and give you no idea what will suit you or not.
With the best of intentions and desperation for a sale she produces
designer catalogues with suggestions of this style and colour.
Of course she can order one in your size.
Charges you a hefty deposit fo the privilege, this prevents you
going elsewhere to be embarrassed into another sale.
Now your trapped into something which may or may not fit and will
arrive 3 weeks before your wedding day. What happens if you don't
like it or its the wrong size or colour and you've still got to
find the accessories ?
And You've lost your deposit !!!
What do you do ?
Both my daughter and I have been through this and wouldn't wish
it to spoil anyone else's day.
